The cafe/bar will be open for food and drinks and there are a number of eateries and other local amenities nearby. Please note The Scottish Storytelling Centre operate a cashless bar – card transactions only. The Festival will accept cash and card payments for tickets and merchandise!

There is on street ticketed parking on the streets around the venue itself which is free in the evening and on Sunday mornings up to 12.30pm.  If you expect to be there for a while it would be worth looking at parking in the New Street or Holyrood Road Car Parking buildings as you only pay when you leave so no worry about feeding the ‘meter’ and it is generally cheaper than the on street parking too.

The venue is also within walking distance of bus routes, the tram and Waverley train station.

The venue also has disabled access to all the spaces Northern Streams Festival is taking place in.  If looking at the photo above, the wheelchair/level access it up to the left and around the corner through John Knox House.

Tickets will be available on the door for all the events if there is availability. The Box Office is available in person at any point the SSC is open and you can also book online or over the phone – these last two methods will attract a booking fee of £1.50 per transaction – not per ticket.
